One thing that I have learned about life is that the only thing we can be certain about is that things will change. My youngest child is leaving for college. It seemed like there was a very short period of time between speaking in text lingo to today when she told me that my writing tends to be ‘cliché’. Writing about change in the fall is probably cliché but the changing of the seasons is one of the things most of us love about Vermont. Cliché or not, isn’t it true that every fall more than the leaves change color?
